You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

Shooter doesn't think Putin will negotiate.
Not for terms the Ukrainians would accept anyway.
Nope. Putin is well and truly fucked and good riddance.
The only question is, how long will it take Ukraine to retake all of Ukraine and the Crimea.

    - shootersa

    ---------

And how long will it take the Russian people to learn that this war is unnecessary for Russia's security, and against Russia's national interest. I hope they learn sooner than we did. It took us ten years to figure that out about Vietnam. In the United States anti war activists were able to express their opinions. In Russia they are not.

We will not stop untill we return all Russian lands. It is Kherson, Odessa, Nikolayev, Kharkiv, Dnepr, Kiev.. The rest depends on how long they gonna resist, more resist more territories we annex.

Nsato is pussy to interven, Europe has ecxosped its war arsenals, USA can no longer send arms, can only scrap the rest of Soviet arms from east European countries. When all this is destroyed then west gonna start whining about civilians death toll. We will outlast, outstand, n outfight you all, Nato arsenal with Ukraine population resourse. We ll all this proceed into fine meat. Nato combined budget is Trillion dollars. Russian is 60 billion. And still we don t lose. You don t know who you mess with. Ukraine combat losses are more than 300k. In a six months it s gonna be over hald a million.

Though you fellas never knew Europe history, I tell you. Just like Prussia declined and disapeared from the map, but population that has lived in that country went on living under another country jurisdiction, same would happen to Ukraine. There were no Ukraine 100 years ago. And there wont be. It is only historic justise, made by Russia. Russia has delivered it, n Russia will put an end to it.
      Over n out.

The people in those countries do not want to be part of Russia, so Russia has no right to conquer them. Russia is already the largest country in the world. Isn't that enough? A more likely outcome from this fiasco is that the Russian Federation will break up into several independent countries.

Stupid amers never understand that war is not only one battle that you ve won. It is many many little and great battles that bring victory. As far as I know we fight nazi on their soil, so there is no real evidence that we dodge the fight.Right bank of the Dniper river on Kherson was too risky to defend. Too many troops in a closed area, a danger that Ukr forces might destroy a water dam and flood area put our troops in a too risky situation. So we desided to retreat forces to avoid losses. But you are too stupid to understand this. So I have to chew and put that shit in your mouths.

I'm not justifying Putin's actions in the least, and I think the Russian people are finally waking up.

But you continue to look at this from your perspective, ignoring the fact that others may view the same situation totally differently from their perspective. How many times has Russia been invaded? How many times have their cities been sacked over the last thousand years, their men killed and their women enslaved? How paranoid have they become because of this and is that paranoia literally gene deep now?

Does Russia look at Ukraine the same way we look at Mexico and Canada, as significant members of our hemisphere of control and profoundly important to our security regime? Did the CIA-led coup which forced a legitimately elected Ukrainian president to flee (who also happened to be pro-Russian) play into that paranoia? Did replacing him with a pro-Western president make the Russians feel safer, less paranoid? After that coup, did the formation and funding of the Azov Battalion 8 years ago (by Obama) play into this paranoia as literal neo-Nazis committed atrocities against pro-Russian Ukrainian citizens in the Donbas? Did US/NATO building up the Ukrainian army (prior to the 2022 invasion, it was one of the largest armies in Europe and it was certainly larger than the force with which Russia invaded) just across the border from Russia play into their paranoia? Did talk of Ukraine joining NATO (see 2008 Bucharest summit) and possibly placing missiles there on the Russian border play into this paranoia?

North America is lucky; we were mostly insulated by assault from other empires early on, protected on both sides by oceans. This allowed us to grow to maturity as a nation relatively pain free. Who knows how we would have turned out if we had been invaded 8, 10, 12 times over the course of a millenia. Even without having been invaded similar to how Russia has, we reacted rather aggressively when there was the chance of Russian missiles being based in Cuba -- was that paranoid or irrational or just legitimate self interest? If we had US citizens living peacefully and legally just across the border in Mexico, and there was an obvious move by the Mexican Govt (led by a president that Russia had put in place) to allow a fascist militia to kill and rape, intimidate and destroy thousands of our citizens just to make them flee...what would we do?

Bottom line: You keep expecting rational behavior compared to our norms and then always seem puzzled by its absence. Maybe that's the whole point -- it is irrational by our norms, but not by Russia's.

No, no, no. The Ukraine broke their tanks & army thus causing Putin & his high command to have to use distant fighting supplied by Arabian sources.
When said sources get hit with Western embargoes those supplies will dry up & Payment will become due.

What you say is true. On several occasions I have pointed out that our war in Vietnam was less justified and more preposterous than Russia's war in Ukraine. Vietnam is on the other side of the world. Nevertheless, for most of 10 years most Americans thought that if we did not stop "the Communists" in Vietnam, they would invade our west coast.

Vietnam was not important to our security and our economy. We thought that by being in Vietnam we somehow opposing Communist Chinese aggression. Guess what? During the spring of 1979 Communist China invaded Communist Vietnam. The Vietnamese killed about 20,000 Communist Chinese soldiers, and sent the rest running back to Communist China.

As far as our economy is concerned, right now Communist Vietnam has become a major trading partner of ours. As I type these words I am wearing underpants made in Communist Vietnam. They are comfortable and durable.

Both sides are in stalemate in the south with a large river both side can defend but cannot attack. So if either side bring boats forward then artillery or airpower will destroy them ,If you use Airborne troops then the missile system's on both side's will cause massive casualty's but only the Russian airforce has large number of aircraft and helicopters. If Ukraine try's to attack from the North they then would have a resupply problem and could be cut off by a attack from the north and south. Hitler tried this Ukraine at Kursk and failed with massive casualty. But in this case the Russians would probably win because of the Ukrainian supply problem's

Our enforcements haven t fully arrived yet, I guess most reasonable thing for us is to hit from north, from Belorussian side and cut off west supply roads. Crossing the Dniper is nightmare, thats why, no one wanted to leave Kherson. But our commanders will find a way to get those Ukrs. Best solution is to freeze them this winter togather with Europeans. Cut off oil and Gas . Let them have fun with expencive US gas. Let enjoy fully.

Witnesses recount detentions, torture, disappearances in occupied Kherson, Black sedans with tinted windows and missing license plates arrived at all hours, disgorging Ukrainian detainees with bags over their heads. Screams began to escape the three-story structure, piercing the once-calm neighborhood, residents said...

Days after Russian forces fled in retreat, surrendering the only regional capital Russia had managed to seize since the start of its invasion, the horrors that occurred in this stately 18th-century port city are just starting to come into focus.

Fixxy the Russian clown has said we can't launch rockets without Russian rocket fuel. Shows what he knows. We have sent a shuttle to the moon. And in other Russian news looks like the NordStream pipeline incident is looking like sabotage. 2 "dark" vessels on the waters near the incident site. No GPS or beacon readings. Any guesses to who is responsible? Since we all know the answer.
