This drone-shot porn is beautiful

Category: News

Somewhere underneath the civil rights issues and surveillance creep worries about drones is something much more concrete. What if some peeping Tom with a drone caught me naked? What if a drone caught me fucking? This kind of fear is behind one of the world's first drone-shot pornographic films, which is rather artsy and thought provoking than your average porn. Brooklyn-based Ghost+Cow Films just released "Drone Boning", a drone-shot short film that features stunning aerial views of locations shot in and around San Francisco, plus one interesting detail: couples having sex. “We wanted to explore the whole idea of drone privacy and strikes – this idea of ‘make porn, not war,’ ” said Brandon LaGanke, who worked on the film with John Carlucci. “It started as a kind of funny commentary on privacy and voyeurism, but it quickly became a conceptual grounding.” So far, so good, in my point of view. Too bad that most of the sex scenes captured on film are simulated, and there are no close ups on any of the couples. But hey, it's a start! What do you think?   XOXO, Emma.
